Kelby Moul, Guest Speaker

Kelby is a lifelong York County resident, growing up in Spring Grove, and having lived the last 23 years in Hanover.  He has been a teacher in the public schools for 25 years, 5 years teaching second grade in Eastern York and the last 20 years with South Western teaching fourth grade.  Kelby committed his life to Christ at age twelve, when he “understood salvation, but not necessarily discipleship”.  About 24 years ago, however, Kelby sought God more seriously when his life took unexpected and unwanted turns.  Kelby recommitted his life to Christ and has been actively teaching Sunday School with middle school boys, young couples, and most recently with elderly shut ins at Hanover Hall Nursing Home.  Experiences with Kelby’s wife and her long-term health problems, as well as recent events in his own life, have taught him more than ever about the endless love and mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Kelby is still learning how to keep “a right perspective on his life as a Christian as he walks life’s journey”.  Kelby’s message will focus on how God uses suffering, hardships, and sorrows in our lives.

 Donkey Tales
Presented by Grace Notes Children's Choir
Sunday, March 15
During both Morning Services (8:15 and 10:45)

Kathie Hill and Melody Morris in their new musical share the stories of Balaam’s donkey, the Good Samaritan, and Jesus riding into Jerusalem. Through these Donkey Tales, children will learn about the obedience God requires, the love we can show our neighbors and the humility that led Jesus to the cross.
