Senior Pastor, Rev. Steve Warner:

Pastor Steve joined the Pastoral Team at GBC in 1999 and has served in full-time Christian ministry since 1994. He and his wife Jayne have two sons and two daughters. After serving six years in the United States Navy, Pastor Steve earned his Bachelor's of Ministry from Evangelical Theological Seminary of Florida and recently graduated with a Master's of Theological Studies from Liberty University in Virginia. In his free-time, he enjoys spending time with his family, especially outdoors. He and his family enjoy time away in the mountains and setting sail on cruise vacations.

Through the years, Pastor Steve has served the families of GBC as a passionate and devoted Youth Pastor and a member of GBC's Pastoral Leadership Team.  Now serving as the Senior Pastor, Pastor Steve strives to align his life with his favorite Bible verses, Philippians 3:13-14: Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Assistant Pastor/Youth Pastor, Rev. Jon Barrett:

Pastor Jon began his ministry as Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor at GBC on June 22, 2015.  Pastor Jon and his wife, Sarah, and their two children, Katelyn and Rebecca, moved from Lynchburg, VA, to York.  Pastor Jon received a BS in Communications at the University of Alabama and an MA in Theological Studies at Liberty University Baptist Theological Seminary.  He is originally from Long Island, NY.

In his free time, Pastor Jon delights in spending time with his family, especially game nights and movies.  He enjoys watching and attending sporting events, especially University of Alabama football.  He also enjoys spending time with brothers in Christ.  Pastor Jon's favorite authors are A.W. Tozer and David Platt.  He loves studying how radically Jesus' disciples left everything to follow Him and make disciples, as noted throughout the gospels.  His favorite verse is Matthew 4:19-20, "Come follow Me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed Him.

Paul Buser: Paul and his wife Ida Sue have three adult children and eight grandchildren. Having retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Paul now works two days a week as a sales representative. He serves as a committee member for Child Evangelism Fellowship of York County and as a judge of election at his local precinct. Once a month he leads a service at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. He has taught adult Sunday School for many years. He enjoys gardening and spending time with his family. He has served as a deacon for over 40 consecutive years (except for a 1-year break during the 1980s). He believes he is called by God to fulfill this ministry at GBC. His life verse expresses God's faithful promise to guide those who trust in His ways: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths," Proverbs 3:5-6.

Frank Collins: Frank is happily married to Thelma.  They have two children, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. In addition to spending time with his family, Frank enjoys reading, fishing and crabbing. He especially loves spending time with the Lord as he prepares to teach. Frank believes that God has specifically called him to serve as a deacon, and he has served in this capacity at every church he has been a member of over the past 30 years. He understands the responsibility associated with dedicating oneself as a servant to the church body. At GBC, Frank teaches adult Sunday School, sings in the Voices of Praise choir, participates in the Thursday morning Men's Prayer Meeting and leads a nursing home ministry team. Considering the proper heart and attitude associated with serving God's people, Frank's favorite Bible verses are Luke 10:41-42: "And Jesus answered and said to her, 'Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.' "

Travis Gaidos: God has blessed Travis and his wife Jennifer with three children. Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and children, working outside and playing various sports. After a year of praying about serving the body of Grace Baptist, Travis felt compelled to join the deacon ministry. He has served in this capacity since 2010. He and his wife dedicate much time and devotion to Grace Baptist through teaching, music and service. Being encouraged by the confidence that comes through faith in Jesus, Travis' favorite Bible verse is Mark 5:36: "As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, 'Do not be afraid; only believe.' "

Chip Isiminger: Chip and his wife Lori have been blessed with two children to love and raise. In addition to spending time with his family, Chip enjoys playing basketball, watching football, singing and attending concerts. He has served as a deacon at GBC since 2000. He felt called to serve after being asked to pray about devoting himself to such a ministry. Chip also serves as a member of the praise team and a Sunday School teacher. Above all else, he seeks to find his joy in the Lord and treasures Ps. 37:4 as his life verse: "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

Stan Stull: Stan and his wife Betty Lou have been married over 50 years. They were saved in 1966 in York, PA, and Stan was encouraged to begin attending evening classes at Lancaster School of the Bible (now Lancaster Bible College) for three years. Using his GI benefits, he was able to complete his education full time at BINE in St. Johnsbury, VT. While there, he served as youth pastor at a local church. He enjoys studying and teaching God's Word and is presently teaching adult Sunday School classes. A verse that has meant much to Stan is Jeremiah 1:7-8, "Don't say that, for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. And don't be afraid of the people for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the Lord, have spoken."

Josh Lindsey: Josh and his wife, Emily, are the parents of two children, Ethan and Elise. The family enjoys spending time together. Josh is a Senior House Manager at Jessica and Friends Community. Josh made his first profession of faith around 8 years of age, but didn’t faithfully start walking with the Lord until 1998. Since then, he had several moments that have led to spiritual growth. The two biggest being the birth of his son and being a part of a small men’s group—the Band of Brothers. As a member of GBC Josh is a part of Band of Brothers, an usher, sings in the choir, drives the van, teaches Sunday School, serves in the tech booth, and is now a Deacon. Josh’s life verse is Joshua 24:15. “God has entrusted me with a great family - a wife and two kids - and I don't want to blow it when it comes to fulfilling my role as the spiritual leader of my family.  My foot is down...I'm resolute in leading my family to serve the Lord.   "...choose for yourselves today whom you will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.’ "

Ted Grove:  After being married to Linda for 48 years, God wanted her for His needs in Heaven and she left for His work on 1/15/17.  Ted has two adult sons and 7 grandchildren.  Upon graduating from Dover Area High School, he attended Grace College of the Bible (now Grace University) in Omaha graduating with a BA in the Pre-Seminary program, but never felt called to go to seminary or take on the role as a pastor.  Before retirement, Ted always worked as a Manufacturing Engineer or later as a Manager (even as a consultant).  After obtaining an MBA from York College, he was able to add the role of Adjunct Faculty at Penn State, Penn College of Technology (in Williamsport) and ITT Technical Institute (in Harrisburg).  In the mid-1980s, Ted served as a Deacon in a new church, under the guidance and support of GBC, in the New Oxford area.  He moved to Lycoming County for 15 years and then moved back to York County.  Ted had the honor of serving as Deacon for most of those years as well.  His favorite (and most challenging) verse is Philippians 3:4 - "Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!"  If Paul could rejoice considering all he endured, we should be able to rejoice as well.
