2. Community
We move people to intentional community because we believe it's impossible to follow Jesus alone.
The Universal Church
We believe every born-again person is a member of the body of Christ, which is identified as The Church.
(Ephesians 3:3-7; Colossians 1:24; I Corinthians 12:12-13; John 3:3)
The Local Church
The local church is a congregation of regenerated, immersed believers, voluntarily united for the purpose of glorifying God through worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism. It maintains the right of self-government in all affairs. The will of the local church, standing in submission to the will of God, is final.
(Acts 2:41-42; I Corinthians 10:31, 11:2; Ephesians 4:11, 5:23-24; II Timothy 3:17; Colossians 1:18; Acts 20:17-28)
