3. Ministries

We exist to glorify God!

At GBC, we strive to embody the servant-like heart that Jesus demonstrated in his compassion, grace, and love towards the youngest, oldest, weakest, strongest, richest, and poorest of His day. We do this in three ways: In our church, in our local community, and around the world.

For children there are Sunday School classes, Children's Church on Sunday mornings, and Pioneer Clubs on Wednesday nights.

Our teen ministry, Against the Flow (grades 7-12), meets Sunday and Wednesday nights.

Adults can participate in one of the Adult Sunday School classes or be a teacher or assistant in one of the many classes on Sundays and Wednesdays. There are also ways to use your talents and gifts to support God's ministry, by being involved as a nursery worker, greeter, usher, audio/visual team assistant, Voices of Praise choir member, Praise Team Member, orchestra member, nursing home ministry assistant, and much more!

Through missions, we offer prayer and financial support for many local, national, and international ministries. We highlight a ministry or missionary each week during our Sunday Worship Service and pray for God's provision and protection in all He has called them to do. We also organize short-term mission trips to support the work of the ministries and missions that we pray for.
