Nursing Home Ministry: Throughout the Bible, God makes it very clear that we are called to love, respect, and honor our parents and elders. James 1:27 expresses that ". . . pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world." At GBC we believe that it is our duty as the Church to not neglect the discipleship of older generations. For this reason, GBC organizes three monthly nursing home outreach trips to the Autumn House, Colonial Manor, and Manor Care Kingston Court on the first, second, fourth and fifth Sunday afternoons of each month. Volunteers in this ministry lovingly spend time with residents and host an organized time of Bible study, prayer, hymn sings, and communion.
Connect Groups: The purpose of GBC Connect Groups is to glorify God though community. These small groups are comprised of families meeting monthly in homes. Each group creates its own activities and meeting times. This is a great way to get to know each other and grow closer!
Voices of Praise: Is GBC's choir team. Voices of Praise sings Sunday mornings during the 10:45 a.m. worship service. Practice is Thursday nights at 7:00 p.m. Voices of Praise and is always looking for anyone who loves to glorify God with their voice. Additionally, our Choir Director directs Christmas and Easter cantatas.
Men's Prayer Meeting: Meets Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. This is a special time for men to gather and pray together. Additionally, men gather together before work for "Iron Sharpens Iron" located at Meadow Hill Family Restaurant every 3rd Tuesday at 5:00 a.m. where our Pastors lead a Bible study and intentional prayer time.
The Vine: Is our Post-High School ministry, ages 18-29, based on John chapter 15.  The Vine exists to grow young adults deeper in Christ, and teaches them how to apply the gospel in the "real world."  This ministry consists of a Sunday School class and "life group."
